Our Story

A letter from our founder 

My name is Luciana Svads, and the brand name Luciana came to me after my trip to Tanzania in 2023. In Tanzania, I met people who are fighting against extreme poverty. The trip made a big impression on me as my siblings and I were adopted out of poverty in Brazil in 2009. After meeting so many children who reminded me of little Luciana at age five, I was left with an enormous drive. I got to know myself better and wanted to learn more about my past.

Luciana inspired me to dream big. To follow the love of vintage. Ever since my mother took me to flea markets and various antique and vintage stores, I have loved anything with an old look. 

Luciana wants to inspire you to dare to express who you are and show off your drive. What drives you to dress the way you want, pursue your interests, or allow yourself to dare? We are a vintage-inspired Scandinavian company that wants to safeguard vintage expressions in harmony with a minimalist style.
